Documents required to apply for a US visa

State background check
The FBI background check is necessary for almost every visa or residency process. In the past, the process could take up to six weeks, but that time is now less than half of that. After you have your background check, you can apply for a visa.

Digital fingerprint
If you are a Spanish citizen, you may be asked to submit a digital fingerprint as part of your Us visa application. This document will serve many purposes in Spain, such as applying for a residence visa, adoption, employment, or a passport. It is not yet common practice for Spain to ask for fingerprints, but it is becoming more common. Below are some common uses for this document. The applicant must provide a notarized power of attorney (POA) for the minor and must indicate the legal guardian for the minor. The power of attorney must be signed in Spanish and must indicate who will be responsible for the minor in Spain. The application fee must be paid at the time of the appointment.
